Karine works in the Patents Department. She has experience orienting national and foreign clients to the protection of technological inventions through patent search, elaboration, and technical revision of patent applications, especially those related to biotechnology, pharmaceutical processes, and products.

Karine works in the prosecution of patents, focusing on protecting patent applications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields.

Before joining Tavares, Karine worked at the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property). She has also worked at renowned Brazilian intellectual property firms.

For over 15 years, Karine has been working with patents in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Agriculture, Food, and Cosmetics, providing specialized counseling to clients.
