Livia is a Chemical Engineer with a Master’s in Biofuels and Petrochemical Engineering. She has extensive experience in patents, which she acquired throughout her career in renowned law firms and a solid career at Petrobras. Livia specializes in patentability analysis, preparation of voluntary amendments, interaction with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property), conducting research, and preparing technical reports.

Livia is an expert in optimizing the patent acquisition process, mastering strategies to accelerate technical examination through the PPH (Patent Prosecution Highway), and priority examination requests. Her expertise allows inventors and companies to achieve patent protection more quickly and efficiently, ensuring that their innovations reach the market promptly and with legal security.

Her passion for research and teaching led her to work as a UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) professor, teaching Chemical Engineering courses. Livia also stood out in conducting laboratory research on optimizing organic processes and applied thermodynamics, providing a practical and innovative vision for patent protection.
